Hewson is very creative, and has always seen things very abstract. He colors really well, and says he is an artist. Here is his latest drawing he did for Cameron. He drew it all and made this cute face on it, and then colored it.
We took a late trip to Lowes the other nights to get some more pieces for our new baby gate. The kids already had their bath, so this is Cameron dressed for the town in her pajamas. She said "I look cute."
Well, it is starting to get cold and wet and I was not sure how much longer our watermelon would survive outside and if it would grow anymore so we picked it and gave it another shot. This one was much better.
Cameron wanted to take a picture with Hewson, and he was not that excited about it. We often ask Cameron to roll her eyes for other people because we think it is so cute. So she told me to take a picture of it the other day.
Aunt Jackie and Uncle James came for a quick visit from Arkansas. They came bearing gifts for the new baby and a beautiful crib. We had a great visit, and the kids really enjoyed their time with them. Cameron kept bringing more books for Aunt Jackie to read, and Hewson enjoyed his new coloring and activity books. The kids helped Jeremy put together the crib. Well, mostly Hewson. He was a really big help. Cameron helped me pack the baby bag for the hospital and she picked out one pink pacifier and one bllue pacifier. She now thinks I am having a girl.
Winter came a little early this year. Our house was pretty cold, and we all got a little sick. Here are the kids bundle up. I think fall weather is back though. It has warmed up a little and the leaves are changing colors and falling off the trees. This is all of ours favorite time of year.
This a free event where the kids get to climb on all sorts of trucks, and honk the horns. We had a great time, and daddy got to come with us this year.
The kids had a great time with baby Lennon, baby Josiah, and all the sheets clan. Cameron could not stop smiling when she was holding baby Lennon. The whole family is very welcoming, and calming and giving. It was a very mellow afternoon considering there are eight kids and one grandbaby (not all the kids were there).
The kids and I went to church on Sunday and then we were going to go to the park, but when we left church it started raining. Cameron was not happy about this changing her plans, so we built a fort under Hewson's bed and had a picnic.
